First came the bang – then this view. A giant wind turbines had fallen across the road.
It was when Erik Karlsson from Solbergavägen in Vetlanda was out working in the woods on Christmas Eve morning, he was treated to a nasty surprise.
– I was sitting in my forest when suddenly I heard an incredible bang. Just then I thought no more of it, but continued to work, says Erik.
The hour later, around lunchtime, he was finished and went home. Once he understood what caused the blast.

Low straight across the road
– There was a wind straight across the forest road. It had been ten to fifteen meters up from the base and then dropped in the entire length of a weapon.
