Warning! Read without green glasses! Make no mistake about it: allowing a single turbine in 20% of the world’s remaining fresh water reserves, is insanity and will lead to more insanity. Please read up on this important issue immediately. Please contact your representatives, Senators and the Governor, as well as Mayor and councillors of the City of Cleveland. Ontario Canada has achieved an offshore moratorium, for now. Let’s work together for a moratorium on both sides. The DoE (Department of Energy) is calling this project an “incubator” project. Get it? Like a baby birthing the other 500 projects, well over 2200 turbines, already birthed in someone’s misconceived imagination.
Wind turbines do not work. They do not provide meaningful power. They do not reduce C02. They cause irreparable harm to wildlife, birds, bats, and people. They devalue homes that are too near, and they are dependent on lucrative money systems that support them, like a money transfusion. The PTC is one of those money systems. Putting wind turbines in our Great Lakes will do nothing but add to environmental stresses of the fresh water.
