Doug Ford was asked a tough energy question last Friday, February 23, in a PC Town Hall. He became passionate, and energized, and points to that personal energy, telling Sandy, the impacted person from Niagara, he will absolutely examine the entire wind turbine problem in Ontario, move quickly to end the energy madness, and calling the wind game, a scam. PLEASE LISTEN. This could be a turning point for Ontario’s miserable history of turbine destruction.
EXCELLENT. TO THE POINT. STOP THE WIND!
Thank you Sandy for bringing the biggest issue on industrial wind turbines, PEOPLE BEING HARMED. I’m sorry to hear Ford go on and on about money after being confronted by one of many suffering at turbine ground zero but it his attitude towards turbines is encouraging. Let’s keep telling him and them, that it goes far and beyond property value and hydro bill payer rip off.
Finally, a solid and passionate commitment towards stopping industrial wind turbine madness… maybe we can all breathe again.
Please stop the needless, expensive and unnecessary turbines in North Stormont. Our heath and homes depend on you shutting it down once and for all. The wind tower contract is EDPR. Axiom owns shares in this. Axiom has many SNC EMPLOYEES FROM WHAT IVE BEEN RESEARCHING. PLEASE LOOK IN TO THIS.
But I understand Ford did not take down any of the turbines Wynn put up. And I also understand he is putting some up now too.
Hi Tom Harris: Those in situ turbines are under serious contractual obligations. Of course, we all would WISH for those to be dismantled. He promised no more turbines. The other candidate for the leadership that got the whiff of what Ontario needed, did not make the final cut, but she was fantastic. Tanya Granic Allen. Fantastic candidate. No, he is NOT putting up turbines: any in discussion are just that. We unfortunately have a Minister of Energy, Todd Smith, who ironically is a PICK ME, Charlie the Tuna, kind of person. Wants to throw a bit of all energy sources into the mix, without studying if they even work. Ironically, because he is from Prince Edward County, Picton area, and negotiated the removal of an in progress install of turbines there for his constituents. As for new projects: City of Ottawa is wandering around in the dark re turbines, and there are rumbles of certain developers approaching landowners in Orangeville area. Likely the fight will go on for some time. But Ontarians have not forgotten. If the Premier thinks the Greenbelt is a touchy subject, he might try opening the doors to wind in Ontario. The powerful lobby is there, and has infiltrated many avenues. But the fight is still in people. Thanks for commenting.
